At Hester How our educators are carefully chosen and we pride ourselves in low staff turnover. Our full time staff are all qualified registered early childhood educators with a genuine love for young children. As recognized professionals in early childhood education, our educators also regularly supervise early childhood education students who are in field placements at Hester How.
We place a high priority on professional development. Our educators frequently participate in seminars and courses and remain current in developments in all aspects of childcare and early childhood education.
We are a staff of 13 full-time Registered Early Childhood Educators RECEs (one of whom is the assistant director), three assistant program educators and/or kitchen staff, and an RECE who manages administration as the director.
The total collective early childhood education experience for all our educators is over 250 years! The range of experience for our full-time RECEs in program is from 10 years to 35+ years.
